Journey with journalism

Journey with journalism Being a journalist has been one of my desires.At a certain, I thought the wish of being a journalist is going to fade away but it did not. I chose journalism to help me bring out the professionalism in me. I thought journalism is only being a news caster but journalism is broad and not only limited to one job. Choosing journalism has helped to come out of my shell and voicing out at the right time. I have also met and interview prominent people which has made me to gather some courage and combat shyness from my life. 


Information in this present age spreads widely due to the advancement in technology.The power of digital platforms allows journalists to reach a wider audience, but it also presents unique challenges that require careful ethical navigation.

ethical consideration in digital journalism is the protection of sources. In the digital age, whistleblowers and anonymous sources play a significant role in exposing wrongdoing. However, journalists must be mindful of the potential risks faced by these sources when their identities are revealed. Journalists must protect the image of whistle blowers as they are prone to danger when their  identity is revealed. The case of Edward Snowden, who leaked classified information about government surveillance programs, exemplifies the importance of protecting sources in digital journalism. Journalists must know what to post to the public and when to post it.

Transparency is another key ethical consideration in digital journalism. Journalists must be very clear with the type of information they post online.A lot of informations are being posted online which sometimes lead people astray or misinforms the public. With the rise of sponsored content and native advertising, it's essential for journalists to clearly differentiate between news and advertising. Failure to do so can erode public trust and compromise the integrity of journalism. The Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on disclosure in digital advertising serve as a reminder of the importance of transparency in maintaining ethical standards.

Lastly, privacy concerns in digital journalism cannot be overlooked. Journalists must be cautious when reporting on individuals' private lives, especially in the age of social media. The case of the "Cambridge Analytica scandal," where personal data was harvested from Facebook users without their consent, highlights the ethical implications of privacy breaches in digital journalism. Respecting individuals' privacy rights and obtaining informed consent are essential ethical considerations in the digital realm.

In conclusion, ethical considerations in digital journalism are of utmost importance in today's information age. From verifying information to protecting sources, maintaining transparency, and respecting privacy, ethical journalism ensures the credibility and integrity of news reporting. Real-world examples like the spread of fake news, the protection of whistleblowers, the need for transparency in advertising, and privacy breaches all.

 Adjetey Anang, a Ghanaian actor and an author popularly known as pusher shared part of his life story in an interview at the Ama Ata Aidoo center in AUCC on 28th February 2024. Official starter dance with market women  Official starter who is a dancer and content creator on tiktok was spotted dancing with market women of makola on the 8th of December 2023. He is well known for dancing with  market women.He has made some group of market women whomhe has been dancing  with popular including Toli Toli who is well known in some African countries after singing the wrong version of "Lonely at the top" by Asake. Some months ago ,he performed a Burna boy song with his makola women with touched the heart of Burma boy and made a bill board for them with their photos posted on it.
